why I watch

I watch Aaron Sorkin’s work to feel that way.

I just watched an episode (number 5 I believe) of Studio 60 and I just got to say that I watch Aaron Sorkin to feel that way. To have difficult issues put before me, discussed and debated, dissected and revealed. To have my emotions played upon, and just enjoy the ride.

It’s that simple.

Rondo and Outside Shooting

Hey Celtics fan, I pose you an interesting question: is having three hall-of-famers on your team with excellent outside shots hurting the development of your up-and-coming star point guard? I think so. Rondo needs a jumper, but more importantly he needs to TAKE the jumper. He just doesn’t shoot it when he should. It don’t care if he doesn’t make it but he has to feel confident enough to take it and he needs to show other teams that he will take it.  This will get defenders to play closer to him freeing him up to drive more.

C’mon Rondo, shoot it.

Beer Review: American Ale

Comment: With some skepticism I was given a bottle of “American Ale” by Budweiser and as a beer snob I must admit to being confused with myself. After living in Germany for three years I find this difficult to admit: it is a decent beer. A deep red beer with a crisp taste. Not terribly distinct when compared to other beers in it’s category but. I’m not going to race out and get a 6-pack, but I’d definitely drink it again.

What Should Obama Do With the Money?

He’s got a lot of money left over in the warchest. What should be done with it? We donated it to get him elected, now that that’s over with I think that money should be donated to various charities.  I wasn’t donating to the party, I was donating to get Obama in office. So let’s do something with that money.
